Dedicated training centre in Netherlands The training centre is based in office space adjacent to the main office in Vlissingen. The need for training Modern day contracting and trading is a risk business populated by all kinds of clever and intelligent people whose one aim in life is to absolve them of any risk by placing it elsewhere. Surviving in a world of intense competition and diminished margins of profit whilst at the same time avoiding disputes is a tactical art. Techniques need to be learned. The courses are designed with the emphasis on commercial awareness, the methods necessary to avoid disputes and how if a dispute occurs to manage the conflict arising. Subjects are chosen which address the trends evident from our work in The Netherlands in the past several years. Conscious that many individuals and smaller companies have similar needs to larger organisations but with fewer staff it is often a problem to release staff for training during normal working periods, Trett accommodate this with the ability to arrange training at the centre on any day including weekends. Smaller sized training groups are also encouraged to promote communication within the group. The one-day Foundation Course concentrates on basic practicalities and the pitfalls to be avoided. With many projects now including contractors from differing countries, it compares and contrasts different cultural approaches which often lead to problems. In addition to the Foundation Course a number of Advanced Courses are also available.
